At Hazret Sultan International Airport, the distinguished guest was welcomed by State Counselor of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Karin, Akim of the Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov, and other officials.
Today, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
The heads of delegations participating in the summit are also scheduled to visit the historical monuments and cultural sites of Turkestan.
