The Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the Ambassador of Russia

On February 9, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received Aleksei Erkhov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan.

The outcomes of Uzbekistan–Russia ties over the last year and plans for 2026 were discussed. Positive dynamics observed in many areas were underscored, including the fact that trade turnover reached 11% in 2025.

It was noted that the agenda for the upcoming year is rich in bilateral and multilateral events.
