Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the meeting of the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna

On December 4, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov took part in the meeting of the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna.
“During the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, we reaffirmed our strong commitment to constructive dialogue, regional cooperation and a revitalized multilateral system, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. – Underscored the urgent need to restore trust and overcome the deep fragmentation that currently characterizes international relations.
At a time when geopolitical tensions, armed conflicts, cyber threats and climate-related disasters increasingly spill across borders, international institutions, including the OSCE, must be strengthened to fulfill their founding purpose.
Uzbekistan supports all efforts aimed at reforming the Organization to enhance its effectiveness, preserve its inclusive nature and reinforce its capacity to respond to today’s challenges.
We also highlighted Central Asia’s successful transformation into a region defined by trust, dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation. Over the past eight years, joint efforts by the countries of our region have resolved long-standing issues, accelerated economic integration and boosted connectivity”.
