On the Meeting with the Ambassador of Romania to Uzbekistan

On November 17, deputy minister of foreign affairs Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania Daniel Cristian Ciobanu.

During the meeting, the parties discussed acute topics of bilateral cooperation, including the development of political, trade-economic, and investment ties, further strengthening of multilateral relations, as well as plans for joint work in 2026.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue active engagement across the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation through political and consular consultations between the relevant MFA Departments, as well as meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic Cooperation and the Joint Commission on International Road Transport.
