Leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia hold a telephone conversation

On August 17, a telephone conversation was held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The Head of our state, supporting the agreements reached, expressed hope for the soonest settlement of the Ukraine situation.

Issues of taking coordinated measures aimed at maintaining the current dynamics of trade and economic cooperation and acceleration of implementing priority cooperation projects of the enterprises of Uzbekistan and Russia, were reviewed. The importance of continuing active contacts and exchanges at all levels was emphasized.
