President of Uzbekistan and Prime minister of the Czech Republic discuss ways of expanding practical cooperation
On the margins of the UN climate conference in Baku, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala.
Current issues of further development of Uzbek-Czech relations and deepening of practical cooperation in priority areas were discussed.
The Czech Republic has traditionally been an important European partner of our country. In recent years, the volume of mutual trade turnover has doubled, the number of joint ventures and projects has increased threefold.
The necessity to intensify the activity of the Intergovernmental Commission, develop a “road map” for increasing trade turnover and a program of industrial cooperation with specific projects was underlined.
Special attention was paid to the expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchange.
