Meeting with the Ambassador of France

On November 19, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan Walid Fouque.

During the talks, the sides discussed issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda, as well as plans for joint events scheduled for 2026.

The Ambassador of France noted that the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference held in Samarkand was organized successfully and at a high level and expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended by the Uzbek side.

The parties emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to implement the agreements reached at the highest level, including strengthening cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, transport, and education, as well as enhancing interregional ties.
