On the meeting with the Ambassador of Great Britain

On November 20, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Muzaffar Madrakhimov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Uzbekistan Timothy Smart.

During the meeting, the current state of relations between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom, as well as prospects for further expanding and strengthening cooperation in various fields, were thoroughly discussed.

The parties welcomed the growing dynamics of bilateral cooperation, as well as the visits and contacts held at various levels.

It was noted that there is significant untapped potential for further expansion of trade, economic, and investment ties between the two countries.

An agreement was reached to continue close interaction for organizing joint events in 2026, including mutual exchange of delegations, inter-ministerial political consultations, and other activities.
