Tashkent hosts 36th IAA & Business opportunities conference, ushering in a new era of Uzbekistan–Pakistan economic partnership

Yesterday, the 36th International Achievement Awards and Business Opportunities Conference (IAA & BOC) and the Uzbekistan–Pakistan Business Forum were successfully held in Tashkent.
The event was jointly organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, with the support of the Government of Uzbekistan and other leading business-community stakeholders.
The four-day conference served as a vibrant platform for business leaders, investors and government representatives from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries to explore new trade and investment opportunities, forge partnerships, and celebrate excellence in cross-border collaboration.
The event combined two major segments:
The International Achievement Awards (IAA) – recognising distinguished companies and entrepreneurs for their remarkable contributions to international business, innovation, and regional cooperation.
The Business Opportunities Conference (BOC) – featuring presentations, B2B and B2G meetings, sectoral roundtables, and investment project showcases.
A high-level Pakistani business delegation, led by RCCI President Usman Shaukat, along with senior vice presidents, former presidents, and prominent entrepreneurs, attended the forum. Over 200 to 300 delegates participated, representing a wide range of industries including agriculture and agro-innovation, textiles and light industry, logistics and transport, energy and green technologies, tourism and services, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment.
The conference’s agenda focused on:
Strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, and fostering new regional linkages;
Showcasing Uzbekistan’s investment climate, export potential, and ongoing reforms to attract international partnerships;
Signing memoranda of cooperation and agreements for joint ventures, trade partnerships, and industrial collaborations between Pakistani and Uzbek enterprises;
Honouring outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises through the International Achievement Awards, highlighting their role in advancing global business cooperation.
The successful organization of the conference marked an important milestone in the strengthening of economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan. Uzbekistan has become a key trade partner for Pakistan in Central Asia, and both nations continue to emphasize the importance of connectivity, logistics, and industrial development. The forum further advanced the shared agenda of integrating the business communities of the two countries and establishing sustainable platforms for long-term collaboration.
The launch of new joint ventures and investment projects targeting both Uzbek and Pakistani markets. Extensive B2B and B2G meetings, producing several agreements and strategic roadmaps for cooperation.
Expanded networking opportunities and heightened awareness of bilateral prospects in light manufacturing, agro-processing, textiles, renewable energy, logistics, and healthcare sectors.
Recognition of outstanding companies and entrepreneurs who demonstrated exceptional performance in promoting international trade and partnership.
The 36th IAA and BOC in Tashkent concluded with a renewed commitment from both sides to deepen economic and business ties, enhance connectivity, and continue supporting innovation-driven cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
